The Corporate KYC Operations

The Corporate KYC Operations works closely with the Lines of Business (LOBs) to implement and operate a sustainable, scalable and strategic operational process supporting clients along the Know Your Customer (KYC) an client onboarding lifecycle.

We are one of the first point of contact for the Sales, Client and LOB groups before the client is integrated with the firm to do business. 

Our functions involve complex workflows including client data collection and protection, completion of the KYC profile and review, client screening, targeted research, comparing and analyzing client profiles across all lines of business, quality check and assurance, metrics reporting using industry leading solutions, data analytics for volume , throughput analysis and intensive re-engineering solutions for our ever evolving KYC workflows using class leading technology and low code solutions.

You’ll collaborate with experts to influence and shape outcomes and initiatives that support our businesses across the firm

The Role

This role under Quality Checker groups includes but not limited to 1. All  KYC and AML policies applicable worldwide are adhered to while onboarding 2. Regulatory requirements for each region is fulfilled via accurate documentation and risk review and 3. Will be responsible for conducting periodic reviews of client’s KYC documentation stored in internal repositories and publicly available information using a systematic Risk Score carding process.  4. Partner with Engineering groups to achieve strategic workflow solutions and enhancements. 5. Partner with Sales, Business and clients closely to achieve the right business outcome.

The Fund Services function is critical to all facets of the business, dedicated to continually making our business better – strategically and operationally. This program delivers in-depth industry training, one-on-one mentorship and hands-on experience. As an important member of the Fund Services team you will work in one of the following roles in our Line of Business groups:

 

Institutional Fund Accounting Services (IFAS) Financial Reporting (FinRep), Compliance Reporting Services (CRS), Depositary Services Fund Services function covers the entire spectrum of activities for the institutional clientele.

 

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Work closely with line of business and operations
  • Work with the different sub functions for research and resolution of various line items
  • Manage the monthly/quarterly/half yearly and yearly deadlines
  • Develop and maintain financial reports and schedules to be in line with US / LOCAL GAAP
  • To work with client service team/onshore teams from time to time
  • To prepare the US Reg /Local Reg reporting within definite timelines
  • To adhere to SOX, RCSA, Audits, QA, and other MIS functions
  • Perform various control procedures to ensure the integrity of reported financial results
  • Monitoring and analysis of key drivers impacting business performance against plan & forecast including providing insightful commentaries.
  • Identifying, assessing, validating best practices and propagating them across other businesses
  • Providing support for adhoc requests such as business review decks, process re-engineering, implementation of new regulations/policies

About you

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a passion for producing financial analyses to help drive strategic business decisions and ensure the company is capable of navigating all types of market environments, while maintaining a fortress balance sheet.

 

Key skills and interests include:

  • Qualification – Minimum Graduate and a Fresher CA pass.
  • Completed 3 years of Articleship
  • Post CA Work Experience: 0 – 6 Months
  • A well-rounded academic background with an interest in financial management
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of financial statements, accounting procedures, internal and external reporting, and variance analysis
  • Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Comfortable to join our offices in Mumbai ,Bengaluru & Hyderabad
  • Willing to work in different time zones
  • Excellent aptitude to solve problems
  • Curiosity to learn and engage continuously across teams and divisions
  • Ability to manage risk and drive excellence for our clients
