Amazon - Senior Financial Analyst - CA/IIM/ISB/FMS/MDI (2-5 yrs)
- Finance Analyst will be a finance partner to the relevant business team driving a key global program across multiple countries.
- This includes, among other things, responsibility for financial metrics, reporting, forecasting and analysis.
- The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical, and have the demonstrated ability to effectively manage the finances of a high-growth business.
Key job responsibilities :
- Perform financial reporting, ad-hoc business analyses and financial modeling.
- Develop financial evaluation framework for countries to invest in various marketing initiatives
- Contribute to business decisions by providing insightful analysis and methodical consideration for the end-to-end impact to systems, financial controls and ongoing support requirements.
- Develop audit mechanism for marketing investment across countries
- Identify opportunities and drive automation in existing manual process
- Facilitate financial review meetings with cross country teams and work with business managers to ensure effective finance and cost management.
- Manage the annual financial planning & analysis and quarterly budgeting exercise accurately, completely and in a timely basis
- Develop ad hoc business analysis and present recommendations to senior management on strategic decisions and planned future initiatives.
- Facilitate the Business reviews with data analysis and follow through with business leaders on actionable items
Basic qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
- 2+ years relevant finance experience. Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Advanced analytical skills and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
Preferred qualifications :
- CA/MBA from a reputed B-school preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate strong initiative, possess strong communication skill and engage with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously. Knowledge of SQL is preferred
